Samsung galaxy note 7 exploding.

Galaxy Note7 battery overheating

Reports from the US and South Korea had it that the Samsung galaxy note 7 battery was exploding during charging or after, these reports lead to some information that samsung would be stopping shipments of the galaxy note 7, as a result of the reports on the galaxy note 7's explording while charging.
Samsung said for customers who had gotten the galaxy note 7, would still be able to swap it for a new one.

Samsung had already sold alot of units of the smartphone 2.5 million units infact.
President of samsung's mobile business Koh Dong-jin told reporters "There was a tiny problem in the manufacturing process, so it was very difficult to figure out''.It was confirmed that some 35 samsung galaxy note7 devices had this particular problem, this has resulted in a complete world recall of the devices so this issue would be fixed.

Although it seems that users could solve the problem by just replacing the battery of samsung galaxy note 7. The Tech giants actually stated that this battery exploding only affects roughly 0.1% of the samsung note 7 users.

This development had many samsung lovers hold off on go out and picking up their own galaxy note 7, even those that are not full samsung loyalist are not instead preparing for the much awaited lauch of Apple's iPhone 7 expected in a matter of days now.

This is quite unforunate for Samsung, because with this news of the battery problem, even if it does not affect a very good number of the devices.

Truth be told, Samsung has been excellent the way this whole issue was handled, by putting a recall on time. This is coming up just when samsung's biggest competition is about to drop its
much awaited device. I personally hope this doesn't affect the sales of the Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch.

This is the view of BBC's Zoe Kleinman, BBC technology reporter
"This is an extraordinary decision for a tech giant to make based on so few reported incidents - Samsung says it is aware of only 35 cases worldwide.
It's bad timing so soon after a big product launch and especially given that Samsung's rival Apple is understood to be preparing to unveil a new iPhone.
However, the firm says it has discovered a problem with the battery cell and is halting sales while it inspects its suppliers.
People who have already bought the device - which is only available to pre-order in the UK - will be issued with a replacement.
Stories about exploding smartphone batteries do make the news from time to time - lithium ion batteries are flammable but very widely used."

Concluding, this is was a honest mistake by Samsung happening to a very few number of devices, that not withstanding very dangerous. If this influences your decision on getting yourself the galaxy note 7, you would never blamed. Although this issue is not common it should be taking seriously. Samsung has started investigations and taken apporatate actions.

What do you guys think of the Note 7 'sha battery issues?

Samsung has incorporated the rotating bezels from the gear 2 to the gear 3, but on the gear 3 it has move features, like you can snooze an alarm and pick up a call or reject a call.
When you compare the size the case of the gear 3 is bigger than that of the gear 2. The gear 3 measures at 46×49×12.9mm, inside it contains 1GHz dual-core processor, a 768MB of RAM (better than the 512MB of Gear 2), 4GB of storage, and a 380mAh battery( upgraded from 250mAh in the gear S2), Samsung also said it can last on a single charge for four (4) days.
The sensors on the Samsung Gear S3 includes, accelerometer, a heart rate monitor, ambient light sensor. Also NFC, MST Samsung pay support. The other features include Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi, built-in speaker, GPS/Glonass, 4G LTE and the Samsung Gear S3 would be water resistant, and dust resistant with the IP68 for the two latter features.

The Gear S3 smartwatch, would be in two versions the classic Gear S3 and the Gear S3 Frontier( both shown in the first images above), the Frontier has larger ridges on the edge and has a more rugged and sporty design, with different shaped buttons. The classic version has tiny ridges on the edge, and more classic as the name suggests. The both support your standard 22mm watch bands.

The smartwatch Gear S3 is compatible with devices running on Android 4.4 and higher with 1.5GB of RAM or better.
