Reports from the US and South Korea had it that the Samsung galaxy note 7 battery was exploding during charging or after, these reports lead to some information that samsung would be stopping shipments of the galaxy note 7, as a result of the reports on the galaxy note 7's explording while charging.

Samsung said for customers who had gotten the galaxy note 7, would still be able to swap it for a new one.

Samsung had already sold alot of units of the smartphone 2.5 million units infact.

President of samsung's mobile business Koh Dong-jin told reporters "There was a tiny problem in the manufacturing process, so it was very difficult to figure out''.It was confirmed that some 35 samsung galaxy note7 devices had this particular problem,this has resulted in a complete world recall of the devices so this issue would be fixed.

 Although it seems that users could solve the problem by just replacing the battery of samsung galaxy note 7. The Tech giants actually stated that this battery exploding only affects roughly 0.1% of the samsung note 7 users.

This development had many samsung lovers hold off on go out and picking up their own galaxy note 7, even those that are not full samsung loyalist are not instead preparing for the much awaited lauch of Apple's iPhone 7 expected in a matter of days now.

Stories about exploding smartphone batteries do make the news from time to time - lithium ion batteries are flammable but very widely used."

Concluding, this is was a honest mistake by Samsung happening to a very few number of devices, that not withstanding very dangerous. If this influences your decision on getting yourself the galaxy note 7, you would never blamed. Although this issue is not common it should be taking seriously. Samsung has started investigations and taken apporatate actions.

A video gotten by French tech site Nowhereelse.fr that matches up the new iPhone 7 with last year's iPhone 6s flagship.

According to reports in the China-based Commercial Times , Apple is working on a new "compound material" that repels water for use in its handset, which it is thought to be the iPhone 7.
This new material will also reportedly remove the need for the two strips of plastic that run across the back of the current generation of iPhones to allow mobile signals to reach the antennas.
This suggests that the body of the next iPhone may not be made from metal at all, but some other kind of material that allows radio waves to pass through it.

However, to enjoy the uninterrupted services of the internet, you need to have good connectivity. There are two important metrics in bandwidth allocation (measured in Megabits per second or Mbps): download and upload speed, denoting the speed of incoming  and outgoing data respectively.

The average web page loads at 6.3 Mbps universally, a number that denotes how many million bits of data can be moved in a second.

While 6.3 Mbps is quick enough to send an email or watch a Netflix show, it’s still very slow.

Akamai Technologies, a Massachusetts-based internet provider, did a study on how the internet speeds measure up in countries worldwide. The company releases a report every quarter that ranks countries as per their internet speed.

According to them, here are the top 10 countries, which are mentioned in descending order of net connectivity.

1. South Korea

According to the Akami report, people in South Korea enjoy the fastest internet in the world. The country’s average internet speed measures 29 Mbps, which is 4.6 times as quick as the global average.

To put things in perspective , the average HD film is about 5,000 mb. A computer could download that in a little over two and a half minutes at 29 mbps speed.

In spite of more than 80% of South Korean households have access to some of the world’s fastest internet connections, they face usage limitations. Several internet users have to face strong internet censorship in South Korea, according to a report released last year by the nonprofit Freedom House.

2. Norway.

Norway witnessed the biggest growth (68%) in internet speed at 21.3 mbps since last year in comparison to any other country in the top 10. At this speed, a computer could upload or download about five high-quality photos per second.

3. Sweden.

Sweden’s internet offers an average of 20.6 mbps, which means that many people hardly face any experience delays, even if they have multiple applications running that use a lot of bandwidth.

Since last year, the country has noticed a 32% increase in speed.

4. Hong Kong

Hong Kong was the first country in the world to hit 60 mbps in 2013. Today, its residents enjoy an average internet speed of 19.9 MBps.

5. Switzerland

The internet in Switzerland rises at an average 18.7 mbps, a 25% increase from last year.

6. Latvia

Latvia’s average internet speed is 18.3 mbps, which is nearly three times quicker than the global average.

7. Japan

Users in Japan experience an average internet speed of 18.2 mbps, which is offered to them by high-speed fiber optics (cables that enable faster internet). This means that even if there are several people in a household who are using Netflix, or are playing video games, and browsing the web on different devices at the same time, they will not experience any slow-downs.

Japan is one of the many countries working on super-fast 100 Gbps (Gigabytes per second) internet.

Meanwhile, the Japanese provider So-net offers 2 GBps internet that is twice as fast as Google Fiber, making it the world’s fastest commercially available internet service.

8. The Netherlands

The Netherlands’ average internet speed is 17.9 mbps. According to a 2014 report, the country also brags the highest percentage of households using the internet in the EU (European Union).

9. Czech Republic

Facebook messenger end-to-end encryption coming like that of Whatsapp.

So guys this post is about the new security encryption on Facebook message, I came across it on Twitter so I felt I should share. Facebook just said they would be releasing the end-to-end encryption   for a limited number of users. Wait!  What really is end-to-end encryption?  Most of us are already using it on whatsapp right? According to Wikipedia it is "End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is a system of communication where only the communicating users can read the messages. In principle, it prevents potential eavesdroppers – including telecom providers, Internet providers, and even the provider of the communication service – from being able to access the cryptographic keys needed to decrypt the conversation.

The systems are designed to defeat any attempts at surveillance and/or tampering because no third parties can decipher the data being communicated or stored. For example, companies that use end-to-end encryption are unable to hand over texts of their customers' messages to the authorities." so with that back to the gist, going by what the product manager Tony Leach said, he update would be made available to all users around the world , without fear that government or and third-party individual would have access to that conversation. 

We know this feature had been on whatsapp since April, but it is available by default. On Facebook messager user are allowed to set the encryption them self, by turning on the ‘Secret conversations Mode’ to encrypt a conversation. The product manager Tony Leach, explained that since people use Facebook messager for not just one device, but from Personal computers, Web browsers etc, making it  available by default would limit users from using Facebook messenger from and device at any place as before. 

It also allows for messages to be deleted after a specific time in the ‘secret conversations’ after the receiver of the message had read it.

Lenovo wowed the group of Tech observers at the Tech World 2015 by introducing two foldable gadgets. Lenovo's tablet Folio folds and transforms into a telephone. Then again, the smaller of the two, Cplus telephone, wraps around the wrist like a watch.
